Although, some songs might sound a bit kooky if they were made specifically for certain sounds. Sounds good with almost everything I've tested it on, custom music or otherwise.

The closest font I've found so far is Pro Patches Lite. Click on the soundfont name to start downloading the soundfont (.sf2) file. but with a digital feel, so it sounds kind of similar to the SNES Doom or 3DO Doom soundtrack. I like radically different sounding, if at all possible. You know, most of the popular ones like Arachno or Timbres of Heaven. I've listened to quite a few on Youtube before making a decision. Expect to find a ton of mandolins, bass, guitars, sitars, harps, pianos, organs, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, gongs, flutes, violins, drums, percussions, bells, choirs and so much more. I'm a bit picky about soundfonts, and most I think sound more or less too similar to the others. With a pack this heavy, they will cover pretty much any flavor of music production from trap to jazz and everything in between. I've mentioned it in other threads, but I'm actually pretty happy with Gravis Ultrasound Pro Patches Lite played on Timidity.
